National Open Garden Scheme

A film created for the National Open Garden Scheme

Every year, a number of gardens in Warton are opened to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme, to raise money for charity. COVID restrictions in 2020 meant that the annual opening of the Warton gardens was not possible. So I made a short film for the National Garden Scheme instead. It helped raise over £1 million for charity that year.

This film captures the essence of four amazing gardens in Warton, and the allotments.

This film has been my biggest undertaking so far, at around 12 minutes long. It shows 4 gardens in Warton near Lancaster, and the allotments.

Re-Store photoshoots

THE RE STORE in Morecambe is a social enterprise working under the management of the charity West End Impact.

West End Impact’s INNOVATE art group helps people in recovery, suffering from poor mental health, or those who have lost confidence due to long term joblessness and THE RE STOREgives an opportunity for people to show case and sell their work. It also gives local artists a platform and support the charity at the same time.

I have done a couple of photoshoots at the store to provide them with images of some of their products.

I undertake these projects to develop my skills, and to give something back to the world. And maybe to provide a little entertainment too!
